There is a drop-down list on the right hand side showing hundreds of 'em and when you click onto a particular company, it will show their address, websites, tel numbers, the lot. There are multiple ways to gather information and to learn about industries and available jobs. You can: 路 Use the internet and search company home pages and job sites 路 Network with friends, family and colleagues 路 Conduct research and contact companies directly 路 Answer classified ads in newspapers, professional journals, and trade papers 路 Attend job fairs and open houses 路 Contact the placement office of your school 路 Work with support groups 路 Canvass community and civic associations 路 Use an employment agency 路 Look in the Yellow Pages and "cold call" 路 Check state employment and service centers 路 Call employment hot lines in specific companies Career development specialists have found through experience that directly contacting targeted companies and networking are the job search methods that give the best results.
