What jobs can i get at 13? i live in london!? At 13 you can babysit, mow lawns, weed gardens, paper route, etc...because of the minor laws you are too young to get hired by companies. My friend he's 14, was in the same predicament, so he started his own business, poo pick-up...he knocked on doors of people in his neighborhood who have dogs and offered his service, he bought a pooper-scooper, a bucket, and trash bags, he has about 20 customers and goes with his cart to each yard twice a week, charges $20 per week, he makes $400 tax free a week for 20 hours of work...I would gladly pay $20 not to have to do it myself. newspaper rounds http://www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/learn... You can work legally from aged 13 (see above) but there are a lot of restrictions. Maybe a paper round or working in a shop - sweeping up at a hairdressers? EDIT Car washing in affluent areas is also another possibility. Quite limited because you are still a minor. Teenage jobs are best done through your local school, public library or church. For example, if you are creative and good with your hands you can make something and sell it to your classmates, friends and relatives.
