I've been changing majors back and forth for 3 years now between computer repair/network spec, criminal justice, and Nursing. (Wide Range), but everyone I know says im great at computers and I should stick with it because it is what im good at. My only concern is the amount of people going into the computer field; wouldn't it become saturated with more people than jobs? and can anyone tell me if they like there job =)I love computers; took classes at college and studied A+ Cert so can anyone give me any advice?
Stick with computer. I believe that there is always room for employment. Every company runs on information and data, and they need systems to manage that data, so there is always room in the IS field. I am currently doing an internship in a pharmaceutical company. All I do is create new IS applications and correct existing ones. I love it; being able to translate virtually every activity into code... |
