How US citizens getting jobs inspite of outsourcing to India? |
There is a lot of outsourcing of IT jobs to India from US and once the person losses job , how he is able to get job in US ? Because not all the jobs have gone there yet, but will eventually. Engineering jobs are now getting outsourced. What you once could make $25/hr for, they can pay someone of India $2/hr. As you can tell, those jobs will get outsourced. Truly, its a wonder we still have some jobs left. Many companies have their address in the Caymen Islands so they don't have to pay US taxes. How cheap is that? The answer is simple: He works for less and with no health insurance. where getting outsourced jobs from mars To make things worse the employers in the US know there is a glut of IT people so when they have an opening they ask for 10 years experience and working experience in 10 programming languages. The days of letting a guy learn the ropes is long over. If you are a college student you will more than likely have to intern for free first. There are a lot of former IT people driving trucks, selling real estate, selling cars, or delivering pizza. Unskilled labor will always be outsourced, from factories in China to technical support in India. Skilled laborers have very little to be worried about. If it was better in India, we wouldn't have hundreds of thousands of educated Indians living and working in America. If you lose your job answering phones, go work at Best Buy, they won't expect anything more out of you than what you were doing in your last job. Jobs with that require little personal skills are the first outsourced. Here in the US a lot of job performance depends on your interpersonal and communication skills, so unless your a complete wallflower, if you can talk you can work in the us |
