What are a few jobs that would be good for a graduate with a BS in Psych? Tech support, customer support, Human Resources. Sales and Marketing. Find out what you have a passion for and see if you can match it up with a job. A BS in Psych will get you in the door at family counselling, but not as a counselor. You will be starting all over again. My best advice is to continue on to a MSW or other advanced degree. They are not that much work, but grossly underpaid industry, it is the ticket that will put you in touch with the job you are looking for. Go to an institute that trains therapists and see if the institute will let you do intake interviews. If not, you may be able to register for a course and then be hired to do intake interviews. You may be able to arrange with a private school to do I.Q. testing at a rate lower than an educational psychologist with a PhD. |
