Depends what aspect you're learning, and what you do.

"Learning Oracle" can mean a variety of things depending on the context.

Oracle is a very common database used in a number of firms. Learning it will hardly ever be a bad idea. But you need to figure out which aspects you need to learn.
In today's business from what I have seen would become a power user in SAP. Market is short of experienced people and demand is high as man business's are switching to it.
