Im an A+certified computer technician and I cant get a job because of no experience . what should I do?

Every job I apply to i am turned down because the job requires 1-2 years experience i have been looking for a job for several months now. I have even sent my resume to a temp agency that specifies in Information Technology and even they told me I need at least 1 year experience. I really don鈥檛 understand how I am supposed to gain experience if i need experience to get a job. And then If I cant get experience with a temp agency that specializes in IT wher e then can I get a job??

I'm 43 Y.O. and I have been having that problem my entire life, so if it is any consolation, this is just the beginning. I hate to say this but there is only one way to get a job...Lie. Put down that you worked for so&so company for 1 year. If you can, find one that recently went bankrupt, so they can not call them, but do not worry, most times they will never investigate anyway.
Problem: You are applying for jobs you are not qualified for. If you are applying for jobs, and they have a certain level of experience required that you don't have, you're not qualified. Target your searches towards:
A-Large companies with large IT departments
B-Entry level positions with any company
C-Doesn't the school you got your certificatioin from have an outplacement office to help students find jobs? Use them as a resource, too.

You're at a slight disadvantage-none of these schools will tell you this, but an A+ cert means absolutely nothing without the experience to back it up. You will just have to be more aggressive in your search. All the best for a great new position!
Go to a store like best buy ask to work at geek squad and if not just work at the store. When some body leave from geek squad you can step in.
Think about how many jobs you have applied to. Think about doing some sort of paying - intern type job. As long as you're out there on the field working, thats experience.
But yeah, a lot of people growing up in school nowadays think that just because you get good grades, you'll be successful. Let me tell you, its all about experience, and how you interact with others. Grades are just medals, try to aim for that BIG TROPHY. How - experience.
