I am a fresh graduate of A.S. Computer Science. How can I become successful in this field? Always stay ontop of the new technologies in the field and make sure to network socialy. Most people get there jobs because of who they know first and what they know second. Try to be pleasent to work with and knowledgeable because a coworker today could own there own company tomarrow and if they liked you, you could get a better job. Also, seriously consider upgrading that AS to a BS, it's taken far more seriously. And most importantly you MUST get as much experiance as soon as you can many companies wont hire someone without it. you can help me reboot my computer(i tip) what do you mean by successful? getting a BS degrees or Master or what!? First, see if the field is lush and green enough. You may need to add fertilizer for a greater chance of sucess. one of the most successful aspects of computer science is the ability to clearly define what it is that the client wants to have built. If the design can be clearly defined, it will be much easier to build it. If you took a class in software design for your degree, that is what I am talking about. My company is very successful at building software and it's because we take the time to figure out what it is that we are building for clients. www.tricalyx.com |
