I want to be a Computer Engineer, but what are the usual work hours for That job?

It varies by company and country .... usually its between 35 - 60 hrs/ week depends. Also there are crunch times generally before product releases or tradeshows where you may have to work a 60+ hr week
Depending on what you deem a computer engineer. that's to broad a field to make an accurate call. my b/f works 60 hrs. a week or more on ocassion.
Absolute wrong question to ask.

If you want to be a computer engineer, then pursue the career with all you've got.

That means you're the guy who's willing to be there whenever, the times when everybody else is whining.

You pay your dues by being available, by going beyond what is called for, by always making absolutely sure the job is done right.

And pretty soon, you'll be the guy making up the work schedules.
