Can anyone give me a List or tell me where to find Jobs at Movie Studios? |
A Movie Studio will be built in my state very soon, they will be employing over 1400 jobs. I was wondering WHAT KIND OF JOBS DO THEY HAVE AT A MAJOR MOVIE STUDIO/ OR WHERE CAN I FIND A LIST OF JOBS AT A MAJOR MOVIE STUDIO?? I would like to do some research to get a job there if I can. Thanks to all. Find out the name of the studio being built and when they expect to open. There will be a hiring phase that they will go through. They may be moving/transferring a number of people from a former site to the new site. The number of jobs and the actual ones needed will vary depending on that. Most jobs on a movie are governed by unions. So find out which ones will be present and what the dues will cost. (By finding out the name of the company building the studio you can find that information on their web site. They will post which unions have employees on their lot.) Check the web site of Warner Brothers, Fox, Disney, Universal Studios in Universal City, CA to see what kinds of jobs they list as being open for hire if you want to see what they have. Depends on what you want to do. Most sudios use union workers, so the logical first step would be to contact the relevant unions. |
