I have completed my BE Computers.Do i need an extra course like java from job perspective?


I wanted to know that just BE degree is sufficient or extra qualification is needed for getting a descent job.

My B/F has a PhD in CIS, and a Double Masters, one being in CIS. The degress are nice the languages he codes are the key to his success. Start with UNIX. Java is fine, but not the root of engineering. Just his advice. But I can tell you that a 6 figure salary is not out of the question.
