You also might want to consider being your own boss. Check out this free book... Go it alone! It will make you less dependent on others for income. Source(s): http://newfreebooks.com NO DOUBT MIS IS AN EMERGING AREA NOW, AS ERP HAS BECOME A MANDATORY PART OF BUSINESS LIFE, LOT OF ERP PACKAGES ARE BECOMING POPULAR DAY BY DAY E.G.- PEOPLE SOFT, ORACLE & SAP.... AFTER GAINING ENOUGH EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE ANY BODY CAN JOIN AS A TEAM LEADER OR DPT. HEAD... ALL WHAT U REQUIRED IS :- KNOWLEDGE OF HRIS, EXPERTISE ON ANY ERP TOOL BE A MASTER OF YOUR FIELD E.G.- FOR HR- SAP 5.0 R/3 HR MODULE IMPLEMENTATION AND CUSTOMIZATION. BESIDE ALL THAT U MUST KNOW ALL THE BASIC E.G.- HR - PAYROLL, TIME MGMT., PERSONNEL ADMIN., ORG. MGMT. Couple of aspects - first, you have to have real-time experience. Learning about fiscal cycles and how to forecast in a top-earning year versus a bottom-rung year can be tough to predict. You can only do that with realtime data, and experience teaches you that. No offense, they don't teach you how to re-act when your top salesman decides to bail out of your group - your top moneymaker is no longer making a decent pull into the system. Eventually, getting a higher degree or an MBA will help you more in the long run, but coming in to a company with no experience will not really help. Although you can predict tons with a CRM package, ultimately human beings have to pull off the sale. Even in an internet-based model, people have to design and revise the website to suit everybody's needs. Experience teaches you that. |
