No offense, they don't teach you how to re-act when your top salesman decides to bail out of your group - your top moneymaker is no longer making a decent pull into the system. Eventually, getting a higher degree or an MBA will help you more in the long run, but coming in to a company with no experience will not really help. Although you can predict tons with a CRM package, ultimately human beings have to pull off the sale. Even in an internet-based model, people have to design and revise the website to suit everybody's needs. Experience teaches you that. |
