What type of Computer job can i get with my skills? |
I dont know what type of computer job i can do. I know how to rebuild computer as well as install and checking for faults in computer's. I can also do data entry, i dont have a degree. So any idea's what computer job i can get. am 24/m/coventry uk Sounds like you have sufficient skills for a variety of roles connected to IT area .e.g most companies employ a help team to install and maintain both hardware and software in their business. Your geographical home base gives you a wide area to seek employment Although many companies will look for degree level , there are some who will be happy to employ someone with your skills and offer appropriate training to progress career. You need to look around at newspaper vacancies , job centre and possible even register with a couple of agencies . The best answer I can give you is you don't really know what is out there for you till you dip your toe in the water . So get busy on your CV and make those applications asap . Good Luck. Why not open a small shop and be your own boss. Then you don't have to worry about competition from better qualified people. You could offer to do a local call out service and that way you would compete favourably with big stores who don't offer that and it would keep your premises and overheads small. If you were worried about not being able to do everything you could do it with a partner who has less hardware experience but more software experience. The problem isw that comanies look for the qualifications...... Do you have any qualifications ? maybe you should start your own PC repair business ? Good Luck :) |
