I'm currently deferred for next year into nanotechnology at the flinders uni in adelaide south australia and i was wondering does anyone know what companies will actually employ a nanotechnologist?
Obviously they will be research (like CSIRO) or something even if i have to move to the US or something to work?
Is anybody a nanotechnologist? how easy was it to find a job?
don't know so much about what types of jobs are available, only that there has been some talk on the news in the last few months about the industry trying to gain a foothold in the research triangle park area in and around Raliegh, central North Carolina, U.S. This is an area encompassing three cities, Raliegh, Durham and Chapel Hill and is home to several large universities who do this type of research with an emphasis on medical applications. You could research the area, Research Triangle Park and also Duke and N.C. State Universities to find out more. |
