Confused whether to stay in my current company or move to another.?

I was unhappy working for my current company, I am staying because of experience and knowledge I'm gaining. I work hard but was not regarded until I applied for another company. Then when my colleague in the same department resigned, I got promoted and at the same time the other company I previously applied for accepted my application. the Current company is growing, I understand how loyalty is important and I want to be a part of that growth but the management is poor on motivating employee like me. The other, is acknowledged as international and offers a little bit higher incentive, good compensation package. Where should I put my future?

I would stay with your present employer. You just got promoted. Wait awhile you might get salary and incentive adjustments. Do a good job. Be a superstar. Make the department grow and you should do well.

Peace and every blessing!
Where you are happiest or where you will be happiest. Happiest could be subjective and dependent on you. If money is important, consider that. If drive time is important, consider that. If the culture is important, consider that. If personal challenge is important...etc
Make a Pros and Cons chart about each company, compare the two companies, eliminate what's not important to you, decide from there
Here are somethings to think about:

The grass is not always greener on the other side. Meaning that the next job is not going to be perfect either. There will be things that you like and dislike.

Why do you get out of bed and go to work? Do you go to work to get a paycheck or do you go to work to learn something new or be apart of a team or ??? Know yourself well enough to know what motivates you to do a good job everyday.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? This is a tough cause you don't have much idea about the other company so you will have to define success for you. IF success is getting promoted 3 times in 5 years or if success is being able to do 15 jobs in the company you work for at the end of 5 years.

My only advice is that it really should not be managements responsibility to motivate you. Its a bonus if they do but you should be motivated on your own.

Here is the good news... Stay or Go neither is the wrong decision. Both have positives and negatives. So you can't do anything wrong.

Good Luck
When taking up a job, we not only consider how much the company is offering us, we must also take into consideration whether we will be able to cope with the new environment and whether we will be happy working there or not. To be able to work happily and the ability to work well with your colleague is very important. I feel that it is important that your effort is being recognised in the company and that you are able to work happily in a company. Hope that after reading this, you have a better understanding on choosing your career. Best wishes & Good Luck!
