What Jobs could a 16 year old get(No Fast Food)? Teenage jobs are best done through your local school, public library or church. They might be able to hook you up in summer type jobs like caddying in golf courses, day camps for kids, life guards in town pools, etc. Checkout this site for teenage jobs. For example, if you are creative and good with your hands you can make something and sell it to your classmates, friends and relatives. Or you can buy things at discount and sell them at a profit. You can also wash cars and do odd jobs for your neighbors. When I was a kid a shined shoes on weekends. Even if you don't make money, the experience would be well worth it. You can't be picky with your first job, with that attitude no one will hire you. If you consider yourself 'above' a fast food job, you don't have many options left. Bagging groceries is pretty much it. Walmart and other stores like that will only hire you if you're 18 or over. Babysitting is only a good idea if you have many clients. work at a golf course retrieving balls... (my little brother does it, he's 14) video store, airport clerk ( small airport), hotel clerk, The list goes on. What do you like to do? Fast food not good enough for you? Too bad. You can only work in fast food restaurants, and you can only take out the trash, clean the kitchen & bathrooms, etc. Suffer... |
