I have been working as a data processing executive in an IT firm.whether there is any good scope for my role?

I have done MCA in 2005. I've got 1yr exp as a data entry operator. Now im working as a data processing executive. I don't know whether I have to continue with my job or look for callcentre job or any other job for my career growth. My main job role is simply processing the files which is a very easy job. But I look forward to my career. So pls advice me.....

why change if you are happy with the job and salary ????
When you've done MCA, i think data entry processor is just too small job for you. You did not mention your age and i presume that you must be in your mid 20's and at this age, one should try to take more challenging jobs which require to undergo huge pressures mentally and physically. I think you should look for some other job.

But the search for the other job should not begin just like that, you'll have to plan your career and be able to say to yourself that you want to see yourself up there in 10 years down the line. Once you're able to see yourself in a career path, you should start searching for job and timely evaluate your performance with the career path you've chosen.
you have mca the what u r doing in data processing. well concentrate for software development or you can also try software services/maintainence and if u think you are quite friendly with other people try software marketing.
