Computer programing?

my husband wants to go to school for it but i would like to know how hard is it to get a job once your out of school and would itt be better then a college
and if you are a computer programer how do you like it what are the ups and down do you make good money

My suggestion to people who are interested in careers in computer programming get a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science and then get a Masters of Science in Computer Science.

A programmer with a BSCS is run of the mill. A person with that and no experience is going to find it tough to get a programming job. A lot of the entry level positions are being outsourced overseas.
These jobs are not as plentiful as they used to be. My son is almost done with his associates from ITT tech. in network management. Guess what? All of the jobs that were available when he started have dried up! Best of luck to you both! ;-)=
