Jobs in Birmingham, AL? |
My husband is being transferred to Birmingham and I need to find a job. I am looking online and through the job sites, but am not having much luch. I am senior-level administrative with HR and legal background with a degree in Advertising. Can anyone offer/suggest some companies I might be able to contact? The job market is very good in Birmingham, with an unemployment rate right at 3%. The newspaper is really not a good source for high-level job leads. I would call Scott Simon at Adatech. He's an excellent, well-connected recruiter in the market. Also consider www.birminghamemployment.com. Contact a recruiter in Birmingham. They will get you into some great companies. I would have to agree with PBW2003, the better jobs in the south are usually gotten by networking, job fairs and just beating the streets. Very few good ones are in the papers and online. You might also try locally published trade journals in Birmingham and Huntsville. Have worked assignments in both Birmingham and Huntsville AL |
