I need help witha career and what should i study under? |
Ok im very good with computers and im one of the top in my school but i love to party. When i am at clubs i pay attention to wut da dj has like equipment wise and stuff. I went to cancun last year and the clubs are nice and i like da djs style down there. What would be the career for stuff like that. I know how to use all of the music software but ive never used a actual turntable in my life except on a computer software but i have created great mixes on it. Please help buz i am a senior in hi school dis year. A sound/recording engineer. If you love to party you might want to get that out of your system first. Partying and going to college to really succeed usually do not mix. Best of luck to you! From your description, it sounds like you'd make a great disc jockey. Really, I'd just observe and maybe approach other disc jockeys/club owners about how they got their jobs and how you could potentially go down that route. With your computer stuff, you should probably start making some tracks to demo out to try your hand at it yourself or perhaps offer assistance, (or if they're interested) help as an associate/apprentice on how to be a disc jockey. Perhaps that helps, if not...good luck on your endeavours. It could almost be any technical job in the recording and entertainment industry. This would require some research and career planing. Career planning is a deliberate process of knowing WHO we are so that we can be sure WHERE we want to go or WHAT we want to be at some defined point in the future. It involves an analysis of career/job options that are new to you.
