Question on a Job Appication....? |
I got a job application today and it says I need to put down three professional referneces. In not sure what to put. I have no real working relationships because I havent worked yet. Help, Im totally clueless about this and I really want thsi job. Can't you find a neighbor you've done some small work or childcare for? A relative you've done housework, yardwork or errands for? If not, state that you have no professional refs, and offer refs from relatives/neighbors who can vouch for your dependability or talents. Just put friends Learn how to spell first ;) put anyone you want anyone you trust is better but in any case talk to those people first and ask their permission to use them as references so there is no surprise. maybe a church pastor, friend, inlaw, I suggest you contact the job that you're applying to and ask them specifically. People on yahoo answerers might be wrong. I'll take a guess: I suppose you can put your teachers/professors as references or any volunteering you did. Better safe than sorry. i'd say put respectable friends or friends' parents, or else you can always put your relatives who don't have the same last name as you and tell them not to let on that they're related to you. mainly you want people who sound intelligent and will only have good things to say about you. well you have to do the honest thing and not put down any because you do not have any prior experiences sorry :-( hope this helped though |
