there are so many different majors like computer science, computer engineering, etc which most fits this career
Start with electronics engineering, get a masters, then go for computer sciences. By then you should be able to design a better computer and put the rest out of bussiness. I'm a puter tech, and it sucks. pay is lousy, hours are long, and little old ladies threaten to kick yer butt cause they can't get on msn messenger with their friends. Be a solution to the problem and build a better working computer that is more user friendly, and maybe one of your friends will make you an operating system for it without all the windows bugs. If you want to be a computer technician, college is a waste of time.
Go to a good trade school and get certified, you'll start earning money sooner, have less debt and you can always go back to school if you don't like where your career is going.
