Which server-side language is in demand?


I'm trying to become a Web Developer, and I was wondering which server-side programming language is currently in demand? Thanks.

get a full rounded knowledge of programming languages and find one that you enjoy best. I work w/c# and i like it. Yeah i've used c++ and perl but c# appeared to be easiest and can work with the server and the client
Php, definitely is the most powerful and is free. ASP and Coldfusion suck, don't use them.
study Java ........... J2EE , JSP , Struts ....

Good careers in Java yaar...
Java..all types and flavors.

J2EE (mainframe) is extremely valuable in corporate.
