Does anyone know of any good jobs in Tallahassee? Try classified ad sites like http://www.webcosmo.com Also you may wanna post your resume there. Its free. Tallahassee has a lot of State jobs. They can be found listed here: https://peoplefirst.myflorida.com/logon.... Working for the State has its benefits - you rarely if ever work overtime, low-stress, good benefits, but the pay is only average. If you are young it's always a plus to work for a lobbyist as a runner. There's always jobs available working with the legislature, etc, during "season" - those provide great experience and look good on your resume. Tallahassee's major private employers are Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Alltel, and the Leon County Civic Center. Working for Florida State University is also an option - I think you get a few free classes every semester if you work for them; I guess they are considered a State job as well. Good luck! |
