If your a certified web designer, or web master, what kind of jobs can you get? |
im looking to take a class to be a certified, web designer, or web master, what would help me find a job easier, and what one would i get more money from It depends on your certification. Is it an MCPD, ZCE, SCJD, or what? Most of the money to be made in the web world is in programming the back end as opposed to designing the front-end. Job titles like Web Programmer and Web Developer will be more lucrative than Web Designer. . The certification is good, but in this field you'll only get an entry level position for either out of school. Both of these positions require much real-world experience and a good looking portfolio before you can make any real money. A webmaster is basically a web designer who's in charge of specific web site. A webmaster could be the one who designed the site initially, or they could just be responsible for updating it. I know people who do very well in this field with no formal schooling. Because whereas a certificate is good, in this field, it's much more important to show that you've been able to do this in the real world, than in a classroom. |
