What's the Entry Level of IT Career? |
I want to change my career into Information Technology (IT) area. Right now I'm an Administration Assistant. I want to know what to study as the first step into IT career? well I would work on getting certifications like the IC3 and A+ to expand your options the database management and Network administration has many openings and demand for them is high network administration and database management are good careers which can lead to six figure salaries $ don't worry about certifications I got my IC3 cert when I was 15 You pretty much need to pick one of the following career paths: Programming & Development Networking & Systems Data & Databases Business Analysis & Project Management Programming pays the best and BA/PM are the least technical. I would start by going to school. No matter what path you choose you're going to have to take a wide-variety of low-level courses in each field as part of your degree. Those "100-level" college courses should give you enough insight into each to help you decide which one you have an interest in and an aptitude for. . |
