I want to do interpreting jobs in iraq, i do not know who to contact? |
i am a qualified interpreter in UK i want to go to iraq to work as an interpreter? i do not know who to speak to to introduce me to interpreter and translator user bodies? I have a friend joining the army that speaks arabic. He is getting a huge bonus. He was also offered the option of being a paid civilian. Thus he could leave at any time, without the huge bonus. I would call your local recruiter for the Army or Marines. If you dont what to be an interperter for them, I would call Halliburton (they have the largest civilian contracts over there, and you would be working on the civilian side). The army doenst really protect them they have private contractors. Personally if it was me, I would pick to work for the army as a civilian. Im thinking they have better protection. Good Luck.
