Job in question is Medical Administrator. Any useful tips and advise would be greatley recived. Yeah - I can help! I'm an employer and receive loads of job applications. Here are the 3 most common mistakes and how to aviod them: http://www.job-application-and-interview... Here's general advice on completing job applications: http://www.job-application-and-interview... Here's specific advice on the free-format section which asks why you want the job: http://www.job-application-and-interview... And here's an example: http://www.job-application-and-interview... Use the covering letter you are sending with CV to highlignt/emphasise certain jobs you have had that you have to use problem solving skills. If filling out an Application Form - look at the Job Description the organisation will have sent. And for each task/item they have listed on it, tell them how it has related to what you have done in your previous jobs. Get a job description from the advertiser. Then match your experience/qualifications to the jobs that you will be required to do. State what you have done at work, for a hobby or voluntarily - anything that shows you have some experience with the kind of work exected from you. You have the job brief, so, show how you meet each of the criteria. Be brief & concise, state your current skills not what you have done in the past. Try to expand the position to show how you can benefit the organisation. Good luck. Oh yes double check spelling & legibility!. |
