Difference between product development companies and it services companies? |
Difference between product development companies and it services companies? Product Dev: They make a product & then they maintain it. They have work like enhancing the product & removing errors (bug fixing). Services company: You are a resource & you can be made to work in any project that is deemed fit for you or has a demand. These projects maybe for the company you work for or for some other company who has outsources it's work to your comapany. In a service environment you will work on a project for a limited time frame (3 months or 1 year or maybe more ), & after that you will be moved to a different project. Once you have finished a project you don't have to maintain it. In a service scenario you get to have a variety of work, but also there is a probability that you may have to sit on bench (without any work) till your comapny has projects. |
