But may I offer a suggestion? Your resume is the first thing a prospective employer sees. So it really matters that you use proper spelling & grammar. Even if it's not something required for your trade. Often it's used (fairly or not) to gauge your abilities & intelligence. I've seen people with little experience be offered a job over one with extensive experience based in large part on their ability to communicate effectively.
I've been a manager at several lounges, as well as known quite a few. Often those w/o the proper grammar and spelling only make it as far as the circular file (trash). If you don't care enough about the job to even spell the occupation correctly why would I want to hire you? Interest and willingness to learn always trumps experience when the one with experience cares so little about first impressions. |
