Every area of business enterprise where computers can be used to handle the record keeping, information retrieval, less clerical overhead. * retail wholesale product distribution * trucking transportation snail-mail and its delivery competition like fed-X and UPS * manufacturing & the supply chain of getting products and services from one company to another * engineering of all kinds * child care Every area of government * federal ... every branch of government, military, justice, congress, administration, taxes * state ... every function, DMV, transportation, police * local ... every activity, courts, school systems Non-profit and non governmental organizations * charities * religious organizations Ordinary people * social clubs * family contact Just about anything anyone needs to do these days can involve communications and record-keeping which are made easier to do, and cost effective, through computerization An opposite question is what applications exist that do not use computers, yet like career areas? pretty much everything is becoming digital. architecture, web desgin, sales, engineering, art, animation, photography, coreography-just about everything. Almost everything. Maybe we can find out what are the fields in which computer applications are not used. |
