Is it worth to try it related jobs leaving the other functional jobs after 15 years of service?

After 15 years of working, I would still expect that I would be working 20 years from now. So, If I was not happy with my current career or felt like it did not offer much potential then I would look at other opportunities.

Since I don't know your current situation and I don't which IT related job you are considering, it hard to make a recommendation for you. I do know people who switch careers after twenty years, made less money and it was worth it for them.

If you do pick a IT related job, I recommend that you pick something that uses your current skills. Also, jobs where you develop corporate knowledge and people skills tend to have more longevity than jobs where you just develop computer skills.
