Help! Im going to be a college grad and there's no jobs in my area for web designers! Should I move?!!? |
I'm graduating collage in 3 month and I began to look for jobs in my area. Well there is no jobs in my area for what I went to school for (Web Design/Programming) I'm so upset I don't know what to do but move away to another city where there is a need for my skill. I have loans to pay off too. I just don't know what to do. And I don't want to have to resort to a secretary job(nighmare). I don't think you necessarily need to move to obtain a job in your field. Web Designers/Programmers can often work from home since their jobs are so virtual. Some conservative companies might still required their programmers to be at their building. Don't get me wrong, moving to a bigger area might help you land another job until you get a job in your field. first things first.. look for a job that u've invested 1/4 of ur life.. since its web design/rpogramming then look for it not particularly in ur location.. try other location or other countries. spread ur CV to job websites, for sure there are cmpanies out there interested with ur know-how and expertist. keep on searching and searching.. Yes, you should move, after you get a job. If you expect to have a career as a web designer you should plan on several moves. web designing is such a field u can work from home without any problem ... there are many websites which offer the freelancing .. its of no use moving to other place just to find the job .. start of with the freelancing .. prepare a cv and post across the many websites .. till u get the responses u can continue with the freelancing ...... just search in google u find many websites which offer freelancing ... just throw a stone and whi knows u may hit the bulls eye .. all the best hi check this link its useful http://workathomedataentrysites.blogspot... . |
