Is computer forensics a good field?

i'm 24 and thinking about going back to school for computer forensics at devry university. Is that a good school? Is it good for that program? Is computer forensics a good field that pays good and is in demand? Need help please

Yes, it's a great career but I would suggest going to college instead of tech school. I did tech school and it got me nowhere except in debt and now I'm in college. If I had not wasted all that time in tech school I would have been done by now. Start out by studying for your CompTia Security+ (or your A+ first if you are just starting out). Later on you can get a CISSP. Source(s): Security+: http://certification.comptia.org/securit...

The best way to find out if you are suited to a career in computers is to make an appointment with a careers advisor. They can give you an aptitude test which will indicate where your true interests, strengths and weaknesses lie.

Don't be concerned about if the jobs pay well, but whether you could make a satisfying career for yourself. Money comes to us when we excel in our area of expertise.

I have seen cleaners make millions from opening up their own business and giving clients excellent service.
