Other Jobs for teens than "typical" burger flipping and cashier/grocerie bagger? |
Curious if theres jobs beyond bagging groceries and making burgers for a teenager. Any ideas/experiences? if you have an amusement park(six flags, etc,)nearby they make great jobs for young men and women if you are good with computers maybe you should design websites. you can make a pretty penny off that :) Places like Blockbuster and other movie rental places are always looking for employees including teenagers. Movie theaters are also always looking for people to take money for tickets and look at tickets and direct people to the theater number they are looking for. Hope this helps. I worked in a factory starting when I was 15, doing emboridery and screen printing. If you've got a bit of strength you can probably get work doing general labor. I have friends who unloaded shrimp boats, did landscaping, worked in wear houses. See if any hardware stores or car parts places need extra hands. just grab the want ads and put out resumes, emphasize that you're a hard worker, your punctual, and reliable. You'll find something. When I was 16 I was a sign holder, I made 10 bucks an hour but it was cool cus I only did it on the weekends. And it was only 5 hours a day.. It was pretty cool 100 bucks a weekend.. I sign held for promoting new development in the high desert mainly Victorville. i work at a newsagent :) my friend works at a flower shop. another at a car wash. another at a pizza place. another at a cafe. umm what else. thats all i can think of atm aye lmao |
