i'm engineering graduate ,i'm looking for a job and it's very hard specially i'm fresh graduate ,but i found job as security in good embassy ,the salary is good ,but if better positions in my major got available ill have the priority if i worked with them now and show them i'm good employer ,my friends make fun of me i'm engineer and i will go to security!!
Admirable that you are working until you find what you want to do instead of using the excuse that you cant find a job and staying unemployed. Sounds like you have a much better work ethic than your friends. Good for you!
I agree with Susan! Not only do you have a better work ethic, it sounds like you got your foot in the door for better possibilities with this employer. Most companies now prefer to promote from within which means more graduates are starting at or close to entry level and proving themselves. Good Luck!
