Do you good paying jobs are base on the color of your skin or your education and qualifications? Honestly, it depends on WHO does the hiring. If the wrong person is doing the hiring, then a good paying job could be given to someone based on skin color, gender, sexual orientation, how pretty you are, how sexy you are...... If the right person is doing the hiring, then it would be based on your education and qualifiations. Yes to Education Yes to Qualifications No to Color of Skin depends on the employer, then both attributes come into play Proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling are much more important than skin color. Education and qualification. Some business's have rules however for EOP. They have to employ a certain number of minorities (color of skin, religious affiliation, race etc) in order to be considered an EOP. It doesn't always depend on your education and qualifications. Oftentimes it's who you know. Networking is huge. How you present yourself matters too. How you speak is important as well. I think that unfortunately, skin color still plays a part in some hiring parties' decisions. Education definitely plays a big role unless you have an "in" with the company as well. Being able to express yourself clearly and concisely (not very well accomplished with this question) while appearing intelligent plays a big role in the interview. |
