MCP guarantees an entry level job ?

If I have a certification from microsoft (MCP) in programming field, am i guaranteed at least a call for interview for (at least) entry-level job as programmer ?

Not in the slightest. Certification is no substitute for experience, especially when MCP is just one test.
I don't necessarily agree with the other answer. I just received my MCP and have two job interview lined up and turned down one job since the pay was not what I was looking for. I don't know if I got the jobs yet but on my resume it's clear that I don't have any experience in the IT field. The one thing that I think benefits me is that I have always worked in a professional atmosphere. I'm not coming from McDonalds. I truly believe it depends on the individual. Good Luck!
