IT, what are carreer opportunities for IT professionals?

im in graduating in highschool next year, so im planning to take up computer science, but a lot of people i know suggest i take IT, so what's in IT and what can i do after taking it?

IT covers a very wide range of career choices. Pretty much everywhere there is an usage of computer.

IT could be developing software for business usage, games, mobile phone, music, and even appliances and cars have computer software these days.

IT could also be developing hardware, like smaller and faster computers.

IT could also include wiring and networking a bunch of computers to work together whether through actual cable wires, WI-FI, Internet etc.

The bottom-line is there are a lot of opportunities in IT, but continuous education and learning is a must as technology continuously changing.
