Avoiding import duty? |
How can I ship clothes and shoes from Brazil to the UK without paying the astronomical import duty, what if I ship them seperately? Is there anything I can mark them as? Whats a good shipping company? The import duty in UK is a right ***** I agree. You are allowed 拢18 import duty tax free on merchandise and double that (拢36) tax free on items marked as gifts on each package I believe. If you can get them packaged separately this would definitely help (even better if you get them sent different days). Alternatively if you can bribe someone to falsify the value of the contents then this would be good too but it's doubtful that'd happen! As for shipping company, I have no idea. Sorry. My boyfriend has just picked smth up from New York and the whole trip may have been cheaper than the shipment and duty costs. This is classed as Tax Evasion and is illegal. This question should not be on this site. You are asking people to collude with you, in order to break the law. Avoidance Yes! Evasion No! tipping the customs officials or ports authorities'.. don't do illegal things.. |
