P87 mileage claim, what else can i claim?

i drive my own car and did 30,000 miles last year which i can claim tax relief for. ie 40p for the first 10,000 miles, etc, etc.
i have been told i can claim for the interest payments on the car, which i bought by credit card.
how do i do that and is there anything else i can claim?

If you run your own business then the rules are different. If you are employed, your company would usually pay you a car allowance and a small amount per mile.

If you do not receive a vehicle reimbursement check from your company you should be able to deduct repairs and maintenance as well, i.e. oil changes, tires, car washes, etc.
I don't believe you can claim for the interest on credit card for the car. If you are an EMPLOYEE the only thing you can claim for is mileage.
Sorry!
