I have been recieving tax credits since December. I have had exactly the same amount every 4 weeks but now I have just had 拢100 less than I should have. I didn't have any information saying this would happen, only that it would go down once my baby is one(which will be in June). I've contacted HMRC and everything but I have had no reply. Does anyone have similar problems or know why this would have happened?
It's because it's the new financial year, they re-evaluate everyone, they don't tell you that they're going to do it, they don't ask you for any more information, they just seem to guess. Good Luck.
