When do I need to register for self employed tax?

When do I need to register for self employed tax?

You need to register as self employed with the Inland Revenue (HMRC) within the first three months of becoming self employed, or you can be fined. Go to the HMRC website (listed in the sources below) for more info, or call 0845 9154515, which is the helpline for the newly self-employed. You can register by calling that number.

Hope it helps! Source(s): www.hmrc.gov.uk
You don't register for Self employment tax you just pay and pay and pay. I recommend speaking with a Public Accountant for rule and regs about the self employed and quarterly filings.

Beware the taxman!!
