Often overseas companies will label the item as gift. For some reason that seems to avoid being picked for duty payments. Be careful of China though. A lot of scams...
I don't sure in UK tax rate of handbags import how much? But depending it you mus pay more.
its very hit and miss - chances are you wil not pay it; however, beware Chinese suppliers as tehy will rob you blnd unless you personally know them - in which case they will only rob you.
