please help, does any body know what taxes i will be paying when bringing over a container of goods from china. goods will be new kitchen bathroom wood flooring, tiles lighting,all for my refurbishment for my house, all items bought from a factory in china any help would be great Try this link www.uktradeinfo.com Go into the commodity code info section and look at the Intrastat Online link. This will allow you to find the specific item you want to import and the relevant import duty rate. The previous answer is bullsh1t as you WILL have to pay UK import duty as well as the VAT. Hope this helps Steve Hi there, Sometimes there seem to be no import taxes. I ordered something from China, they delivered it via DHL and there were no duty to pay.
