Is the TV License a stealth tax?


If you own a TV you have to pay for the license regardless of how many TV channels you can pick up or how good the reception is.

Simple - don't have a TV if you don't want to pay for it. Like any other service.

BTW, the TV is NOT necessary to sustain life, despite what some people might say!

Yes, it's legal blackmail forcing us to pay for something we don't want or need when there is a much easier way of getting the money. Did you know you need a TV license for your computer if you have a TV card, and no other TV in the house, there is also talk about needing one for mobile phones that pick up TV, what a S***place we live in
No you should think yourself lucky .Ilive in Spain and you should see the shi*e that they have to put up with .when you can recieve it .
