How many years do you pay into a pension for? |
How many years do you pay into a pension for? You don't pay into a pension. Your company contributes for you...to which you might add a percentage. The amount of time it takes to get vested in the company's portion varies from company to company If you are lucky enough to be working for a company that provides a pension plan, you (or your employer) pays into it as long as you are employed. go to www.dwp.gov.uk all ur working life......then u dont even get what you deserve coz of all the ********* ******s As many as you can. The more you pay early on, the bigger the pot will be. till you retire Thats a bit like asking how long is a piece of string!! You pay into it from the year you opened the pension, and you stop paying when you retire! In the UK and Ireland, its recommended to start a pension between 23 and 25 if you want to see a decent pension when you retire. |
