Whats the average wait time to get my refund for my new york state taxes? My taxes were prepared by H&R block back on January 15. I mailed my NY state return on the 20th, express mail. They were delivered on the 21st. Somehow, NY says they were not received until February 21. When I finally got ahold of someone, they said it would take 4 weeks to get my return back, because I selected direct deposit of my refund. Its now past 4 weeks, almost into the sixth. Whats the deal with NY? Im expecting $2082 and a new baby and my refund would help a lot. Thanx to all who respond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
