I used H&R Block online to do my taxes....?

After hitting 'submit electronically', I received a rejection email because I had an incorrect SS# for a dependent. I corrected this, submitted again, received email saying it was accepted. Refund was to be 2500; I only got 1192. I called the IRS to see what the deal was; after almost two hours on the phone, turns out HR Block submitted my 'rejected' return first, which didn't list the dependent I made the SS# mistake on. They submitted the corrected return later. IRS uses the first return they receive. IRS said I had to complete a 1040X. IRS sent me what HRB filed. I called HRB and after going around with barely English speaking pee-on who answered the phone, I asked for the supervisor. Was told I would be contacted within 48 hours. It's been over a month and I still have not heard a word. No calls or emails are answered. Other than the BBB, who can I file a complaint to about this? I am out a big chunk of $ because of HRB and now I'm pissed because they're ignoring me.

File the amended return Form 1040X , the IRS will allow for your dependants exemption when they receive the amended return and you will receive the difference in your refund. The 1040X needs to be mailed in and it takes 8 to 12 weeks to process,

The easiest way to complete the 1040X is to have the original return, make a new return using a blank 1040 and then transfer the numbers to the 1040X
