The IRS website says my refund was mailed March 14, but it's March 24, not here yet! Anyone else waiting? |
We e-filed, and I have double checked address etc, all is correct! We did not direct deposit because we are changing banks, well did last week and didn't want a problem. The IRS mails refunds on Fridays, which would have been the 16th, if you do not have the refund within 28 days of the mail date contact the IRS to begin a refund trace. You might get the refund within the next few days. hey ... yeah it can take up to 6 weeks!!!! H&R BLOCK! I really believe you should of had your refund by now. If they mailed it on the 14th, it should not take 10 days to reach you. It usually only takes 2 or 3 days at the most. My sons was mailed on a Friday and he received his on Monday....One year when we did not do direct deposit, ours was mailed on a Friday and we had it Saturday! Almost everyone I have known has had theirs pretty quick. Although, a few years ago a friend of mine had her refund mailed and for some reason it went to a different city than she had on the form because the IRS agent input the info incorrectly. It was a big mess but she finally did get her check....she had to wait until they received the other one back as "undeliverable" and then they processed a new one for her. So strange things do happen! If you don't have your check by the end of next week, I would really be concerned enough about it to call the IRS 800 number and double check with them about when they mailed it ,and see if your address was processed correctly. |
